Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” Matthew 19:14

Our K-5 program continues the mission of Jesus through catechetical ministry. We strive to help children develop a deeper awareness of Who Jesus is and how much He loves them, all in the context of our Catholic faith.

We provide an inclusive program that responds to the spiritual, intellectual, social and psychological needs of our children. Classes are in session during fall and spring semesters. Children’s fellowship opportunities and our “K-5 Corner” in each week’s bulletin provide supplementary engagement with the parish during summer months.

We rely on volunteer teachers and classroom assistants, all of whom have completed diocesan background screening and Safe Environment training. We are always looking for new volunteers for classroom help, special projects, and our Children’s Liturgy of the Word team. Commitments range from a few hours to a full school year, depending on your availability and interest. If you feel called to serve in any of these ways, please let us know!

We charge a nominal fee that helps to defray the cost of materials your child will use in class each year. The fee does not fully cover the expense; our parish family provides the rest.

Payment is appreciated, but not required, at the time of registration. Mail or deliver your registration materials to our office. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us. We are here to serve the Lord by serving you!

Our 2018-2019 fee schedule is as follows:

  • $30 for one child
  • $40 for two (2) children
  • $50 for three (3) children
  • $60 for four or more (4+) children

Children must be members of the same household to qualify for the reduced fee.
